Weekend of Fun over this August weekend

The weather looks good and so get on out and help us to raise money for the Digital Mammography Appeal - We are getting really close now, but we really need your support for the final push.

On Saturday 20th the traders on Antelope Walk in Dorchester are all running events and there will be lots of fun and games and raffles, with some give aways and demonstrations.

On Sunday 21st at Buckham Fair, Beaminster Martin Clunes and his wife Phillipa, who is one of the Patrons of the Appeal, have given us a stand and some space at their annual fair. So join us for the pony and horse events, and dog shows, and come and see us on the Boost Stand, donate £1 or buy something from the stall.

We have now raised £450,000 out of a target of £500,000 - click here to see more!

Thanks to the fantastic support we received since we launched the appeal in February 2011, the appeal has reached the £450,000 mark. With a number of fundraising events planned for the New Year, we are optimistic that we will reach our final target very soon.

We are delighted to announce that the Trust has just placed an order for the actual scanner equipment. Shortly further orders for the building work required to house the unit will be placed as well.

To celebrate the end of the appeal and to express our thanks to the many many people and groups who have shown such wholehearted support to the appeal, we are currently planning a formal final fundraising event on Wednesday 25th April, Corn Exchange Dorchester.
